Best rewarded restaurants Costa Blanca

It’s hard to list all the best restaurants in Moraira, but we give it a try. Moraira offers a wide range of restaurants, from typical Spanish until high-end restaurants. We’re pretty sure you’ll find lovely places to eat. Even outside this list. We start with our absolute and unbeatable top five of best restaurants in Moraira:

Best restaurants Moraira

  1. Billy’s by Miquel Ruiz. Our alltime favourite when we’re in Moraira. It was our little gem, but now discovered by many other foodlovers. The tapas are super creative pieces of art, tasteful and beautiful. Just go there!
  2. Carvón. It opened in 2024 and is yet a phenomenom in Moraira. Fresh food, local products and excellent service. Traditional dishes are turned into outstanding tapas. Just go there!
  3. El Porrón. This is the real thing thing! If you like tapas, but don’t like the greasy stuff many places at the Costa Blanca are used to serve, this is the place. The Andalusian owner serves tapas how they should be: tasteful, fresh and delicate.
  4. Los Limoneros. A beautiful restaurant in a hotel, stylish decorated. The food simply is jummy; think about Belgian cuisine meets Ottolenghi … or something like that. Anyway, super tasteful!
  5. El Raco de l’Arros. Typical Spanish food & the best paellas in town. If you want an authentic experience, just go here. The traditional decoration, the service and the paellas is exactly what you are looking for.
  6. La Casita, El Portet. Perfect for a night out with family. On walking distance from our stay Ca la Bahía and super friendly staff.

But there’s more to discover! So we set up some small lists of nices restaurants, based on type.

  4. Olea by SERAWA. Also a restaurant in a hotel, this oneme close to the sea. Traditional food, with an outstanding taste, made with local products.

Dutch/ Belgian restaurants

Opposite the castle and l’Ampolla beach is a strip with ample Dutch and Belgian restaurants, as well is the strip at Cala Andrago. New restaurants open or change regularly, so we won’t list them all.

Around the Castle and l’Ampolla beach you will find Eleven, Casa Oller, el Cafeti del Mar, Mesa Moraira, Pluk Moraira, Bo Moraira, Vespa’s and Bites & Bubbles. If you like a Belgian beer, bitterballen or a nice talk in your own language, these are the places to visit.
