How to spend a check-out day? Your holiday home is packed up, the keys are handed in… but your flight isn’t until later, or you can’t check in to your next accommodation yet. No need to rush home! We’ve put together some of our favourite tips for making the most of your last day in the Costa Blanca — from a lazy beach morning to a long lunch or one last little adventure.

- Go shopping in a large shopping mall: Portal la Marina in Ondara, La Marina in Finestrat or Centro Comercial Gran Via, Plaza Mar2 or the Outlet Stores in Alicante. In Valencia you will find El Saler, Bonaire or Aqua

- Go for souvenir shopping:

- Visit one of the bodegas just for buying the best wines & local olive oil
- Shop nougat in one of the delicacies shops
